Pathway to Peace

In the quiet there is space.

Space to learn.

Space to grow.

Space to breathe.

Space to notice.

In the space there is room to appreciate.

Appreciate the sunrise.

Appreciate the ability to move.

Appreciate what you have without noticing the lack.

In appreciating we can fully be ourselves.

As I have quieted the noise of social media my heart has become more attuned to my body. I am think and feeling things I may have numbed with the outside world chaos. I am learning to take up space around me and I am growing into whom I have longed to be for years.

Coming out of a long season of pain, numbing, healing and noticing the inner chatter is giving way to something new.

I am not one hundred percent sure why I felt the nudge to get quiet in this season of lent or why I had to get off social media when I already limit my access however; I am fully embracing the possibility of more.

More creativity.

More words.

More ideas.

More connection.

More wisdom.

More healing.

As we begin the first full week of Lent I am excited to make space to allow my mind and heart to be uncluttered while I focus on the things of God.

“The Lord is my best friend and my Shepard. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasures and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.” —Psalm 23:1-3 TPT
